2009 OVERVIEW:

     The FoodForFashion show is an extremely worthwhile endeavor on so many levels. The obvious is that all of the proceeds from this all-volunteer event goes directly to the Keizer Community Food Bank which feeds hundreds of struggling families each month. But there’s much more! This is an opportunity for everyone in the community, and all over the region for that matter, to benefit.

     Anyone can show their original designs on the runway. Opportunities such as blurbs in the printed program, links on the FoodForFashion web site, a designer sales lobby at the show, and a possible designer co-op sales catalog are also available. The winning design will be featured on next year's poster.

     The creator of the winning design receives the coveted KIFFI (our nod to the OSCAR), and everyone gets free runway photos. This show is a vehicle for all designers at every skill level and vision. You own your segment of the show and must supply music and projection screen visuals, etc.

     Businesses can Rent-The-Runway for only $100. Make an impact that won’t be easily forgotten. And when it’s over, it’s still not over! The entire event will be taped and broadcast on local CCTV 10 times. Every time the show airs, your runway presentation will also play so you are getting additional exposure. The DVDs will also be sold, so buyers will continue to see your presentation. We will even help you come up with the creative concept for your runway presentation.

     Elegant printed programs were donated by Keizer Lazer Quick last year. Rent-The-Runway sponsors are placed on the back cover—the prime location. Other ads in the program can be purchased for as little as $15 and a "kiss" mention for only $5! And of course, everyone will be included in the credits at the end of the show and T.V. program.

     The Press will be invited to attend. Last year the show received RAVE reviews.

     So what are you waiting for? Call Sylvia now and sign up to participate in this year’s FoodForFashion show. We need everybody—designers, volunteer models, parade walkers, ushers, judges, back stage help, cameramen, sponsors, ticket sellers, advertisers, follow-up callers, refreshment vendors, prize/auction donations, Craig’s listers, hair dresser and make-up, etc. Sylvia can magically weave your interests into the show.
