9-13-09 The FoodForFashion T.V. show will air in Beaverton and Tualitan Valley on TVCTV. See schedule below:

If you are unable to receive this Salem/Keizer channel, the show is being submitted to other stations in Oregon. Monmouth, Independence (WIMPEG) and Beaverton (TVCTV) now has a copy.

For $16 you can purchase a no-frills copy from CCTV after its run and they will keep the money. OR you can buy it from us with a beautiful label and printed program for the same price and the money will go directly to the food bank. So of course you should buy your copy from us. 6-11-09 - The on-site preview tour is this Monday from 5:00 - 7:00pm at 930 Chemawa Rd N.E. Take (Chemawa) exit 260 on I-5. Cross railroad tracks get in the left lane. Chemawa veres to the left at the first stop light. Continue on Chemawa to the new city hall building.

2-14-09 - Click here for pdf file of meeting summary - We are now announcing on the web site that the FoodForFashion show will
take place on Sunday, June 28, at the new (not yet completed) Rotary Club ball room in Keizer, Oregon. It has been difficult to confirm because, since the room is not complete yet, there is no official person to book it. Our "connection" is confident that the fashion show will take place there. We have an emergency back-up location if something does go wrong.

    I hope this works for you. Models are beginning to sign on now so let me know if you want to model. I will forward the models I have so far to the designers as they request them. If you are a new designer to the event, be sure to let Sylvia know of your intent to show, so she can send important updates to you.

    Also, this year we are going to try out a designer's "co-op" catalog with available one-of-a-kind or other items for sale. Guests can take it home with them and can contact you to place orders. If the publication is thick, we will offer it as a supplement to the program. If there are only a few submissions, we will design the program to accommodate pictures of items for sale with contact and order info. The catalog will also be on the site so your items can link to you.

    It was also decided at the meeting last week that there will be a band performing immediately after the show in order to keep folks around to cruise the designers sales area. (Sort of an after party).

1-18-09 This year the program can be used as a catalog for ordering from designers. When you send your program profiles, also send photos of any item you would like to sell with a price and they will be included in the printed programs.

1-18-09 The 2009 Iris Festival will not be held at the Renaissance Hotel this year so we are searching for another location for the show. We have several options including, as a last resort, a renegade fashion show in the Uptown Music parking lot this summer. This will all be worked out before showtime so designers should continue to put their line together now.

There will be a sales area again so designers can choose their mannequin at any time. There are a couple new ones that will be added soon
